The GOLD Circle is the recognition society for Johnson C. Smith University (JCSU) graduates of the past twenty years who have contributed $15 or more to the university. The GOLD Circle aims to create meaningful programs for recent alumni and encourage them to foster and sustain a lifelong relationship with the university and students.
This society engages recent graduates by sharing information, keeping alumni connected and hosting events that are targeted towards the needs/interests of graduates.
The GOLD Circle offers recent graduates an opportunity to give back to their alma mater through incremental levels of support each year. The impact of GOLD Circle membership will help to change lives, one student at a time.
Here’s how you can make an impact today:
Gold Level: JCSU alumni who make a contribution of $100 or more a year.
Gold Level incentives:
- Invitation to the annual GOLD Circle Reception and select University events
- Opportunity to serve on guest panels at the university
- Recognition in the annual report to contributors
- Complimentary Johnson C. Smith University Gold Circle gift

Blue Level: JCSU alumni who make a contribution of $50 or more a year.
Blue Level incentives:
- Invitation to the annual GOLD Circle Reception

Silver Level: JCSU alumni who make a contribution of $25 or more a year.
Silver Level incentives:

Bronze Level: JCSU alumni who would like to make a contribution of $15 or more a year.
Bronze Level incentives:

The Athletics Fund- Supports JCSU’s athletics program.
The Band Fund- Supports one of the most popular JCSU activities, the International Institution of Sound Marching Band.

The President’s Gap Scholarship Fund- Provides emergency assistance for students who face gaps in completing their validation process.
